what do you love about the picture? the colors, the mood it portrays, the artistic talent exhibited? Would you purchase this and display it for all to see. I for one would not. My bother, who has mental illness and is an artist, has used these features and colors. I see this as a picture of mental sickness. Although blue is a beautiful color many people who are depressed lean towards certain shades of it , as phycolgists have discovered. Sometimes this mood also comes out in music; as with my brother who writes music and records it. One song was about our dead mother in her casket at the funeral home. I would not be able to understand why anyone would love that song. Maybe the word love is used to lightly and should be more of “really like” or “find pleasure” in…. Love and it’s opposite: hate are very strong words. Since I can not say I love this painting perhaps I should say I hate it. I cently would not want it hanging in my house although it does show artistic talent. I recently purchased a painting of a cat done by a mentally ill person. It was done in blues and blacks with a touch of yellow. It was quite whimsical and I really like it.
The picture has to do with roleplay, Jeanne. I don’t think anyone would want it in their house!
oh i really enjoy these pictures, art is in the eye of the beholder but these paintings are hgh art, it , well these paintings go beyond the material world i can see dep feeling and the spirit in these paintis, some people see on the surface, i stare at these painting for a long time and feel deeply move. BRAVO !!
